Idea to

Every app moves through the same stages. The first one is permission to say no, because the kindest thing a studio can do with the wrong idea is tell you before you have paid for it.

  1. Scope

    A short, honest brief: what it does, who it is for, what success looks like. We name the smallest version that is still worth shipping.

  2. Go, or no-go

    A real decision before a line is written. If the idea does not hold up, we say so and you keep your money. If it does, we tell you the number and the shape of the build.

  3. Architect

    The stack, the data model, the integrations, the costs that run after launch. Decided up front, written down, so nothing is a surprise in month three.

  4. Build

    Designed and built in the open, with a dedicated channel and working builds you can hold. You see it become real, not a status update saying it is going well.

  5. Ship

    To the App Store, to your domain, into your team's hands. Submission, review, launch and the build note that tells you exactly what changed and what to test.

  6. Care

    The part most people forget. Every app leaves with a care plan, because a backend left unattended is how products quietly break.

An app is priced to the product, not to a page count, so the number comes from the brief rather than from this page. Most app commissions begin where Flagship does, from $25,000, and move with the size of the build. You hear the number at the intake call, on milestones you pay against as the work is done.

Then it carries on. Every app leaves with an Application Care plan from $1,200/mo, priced to the product: dependency and security updates, uptime and error monitoring, verified backups, incident response, and a budgeted allowance of build hours each month for small features.
