Capabilities · Atelier Melbourne

Everything the house can build.

One studio, one principal, three disciplines: couture websites, working applications, and the machinery that answers the phone when the site starts ringing. This page is the full inventory.

Chapter I

Websites, built like couture.

Bespoke sites, custom-coded from a blank file. No templates, no page builders, no handoffs between departments, because there are no departments. About three weeks from brief to launch, and the work below is the evidence.

Week one

The brief becomes a direction.

Intake call, brand study, structure, and the first design pass. You see real pages, not wireframes.

Week two

The direction becomes a site.

Every page built and written. Copy, imagery, and motion made for the brand, in the open, with your eyes on it.

Week three

The site goes live.

Performance passes, search plumbing, launch QA, DNS cutover. Handled personally, down to the last record.

Chapter II

Applications, through the FORGE.

When the brief is software rather than a site, it runs through FORGE: the studio's pipeline that takes an idea to a shipped iOS or web application with hard quality gates at every stage.

Scope is settled before a line is written. Then architecture, scaffold, design, build, polish, and verification, each one a gate the build must pass before it moves. Nothing ships on hope; every release carries a build note saying exactly what changed and what to test.

The same hand that designs the interface writes the backend. Auth, data, payments, push, App Store submission: one accountable builder, end to end.

Vigil Guard
Residential safety, as a native iOS app with a membership backend.
Repstra
An AI coaching platform, shipped as working SaaS.
BackOnTools
AI for trade businesses, native iOS and web.

Chapter III · Optional

The site rings. Something has to answer.

For trade and service clients, the studio can plug BackOnTools into the site: an AI receptionist built by the same house. A good website makes the phone ring; this is what picks it up.

An ecosystem add-on, proposed openly and priced on its own terms. Never bundled in quietly.

Chapter IV

What every commission includes.

There is no base tier missing the important parts. Whatever the scope, these come with the house.

Custom design

Every page drawn from the brand, from a blank file. No theme underneath, nothing recycled between clients.

Copy, written

The words are part of the build. Headlines, page copy, and microcopy written in the brand's voice, ready to publish.

Imagery & motion

Editorial imagery and considered motion made for the site, so no fold depends on stock photography.

Search, done properly

Structured data, schema, metadata, and sitemaps built in from day one, not retrofitted after launch.

Performance

Hand-coded pages with nothing between the visitor and the content. Speed treated as courtesy, not a trophy.

A CMS, if you want one

Editable where you'll actually edit, static where you won't. The site never carries software it doesn't need.

Ongoing care

After launch, the studio stays reachable: maintenance, refinements, and a principal who still answers the email.

Commission

One conversation starts it.

Websites from a fixed, agreed sum. Applications scoped to the build. No estimates that become negotiations.
