22 years on Melbourne roofs · Tile & metal

We SEAL what the weather keeps testing.

Roof restoration, re-roofing, leaks, gutters and storm repairs across the inner north and east. Tile and metal, pointed and flashed properly, signed off with photos.

The roof is the part of the house that never gets a second chance.

Everything below it stays dry on the assumption that someone got the top right. Plaster, floors, the wiring in the ceiling, the photos in the spare room. A roof doesn't fail politely. It fails on the worst night of the year, and by then the only question left is how much it took with it.

An almanac of what we hold off

Four things a Melbourne roof is asked to survive — and what we do so it does.

This is the work, sorted by the weather it answers to. Same crew from first tile to final sign-off. No labour-only handball.

01

The rain · and where it actually gets inWater rarely enters where it shows on the ceiling.

Leak detection and repair is detective work. We trace the path back to the real fault — flashings, valleys, cracked pointing, lifted tiles — not the stain it left two rooms over. Found, fixed, and water-tested the same visit where we can. When restoration won't hold the line any longer we strip and re-roof: tile to tile, or tile across to Colorbond with new sarking and battens, one crew start to finish.

02

The hail · and the night it all moves at onceStorm and emergency repairs, made safe tonight.

Lifted tiles, blown flashing, water coming through a ceiling in the dark — that's a four-hour call-out window, not a voicemail. We tarp and make safe fast, then come back in daylight to repair it properly and document the lot for your insurer. Photos of the fault before, photos of the finished work after, so the claim is yours and the cause is clear.

03

The heat · and the slow tired fadeRestoration that brings a tired tile roof back.

A full clean, re-bed and re-point of the ridge capping, then two coats of membrane. We replace cracked tiles before we coat, not after — the shortcut everyone else takes to save a day. Re-bedding loose ridge and hip capping, then flexible pointing so it moves with the roof instead of cracking off in the first cold snap. The part most restorations skip is the part that decides whether it lasts.

04

The decades · and the water that has to leaveGutters, downpipes and the fall that does the quiet work.

Replacement, realignment and gutter guard sized to the leaf load on your actual street. We set the fall right so water goes to the downpipe instead of over the back lip into the eaves — the silent failure that rots a fascia for ten years before anyone looks up. Get this right and the roof simply does its job through every season you'll own the house.

In writing, before the first tile moves

A roof is a promise you can't see from the ground. So we put ours on paper.

A fixed quote after we've been on the roof, not guessed from the kerb.
Photos of the actual fault before we start, and the finished work after.
The same crew from first tile to final sign-off — no labour-only handball.
We water-test repairs before we call them done.
A workmanship warranty in writing, in plain English.
A roof mid-restoration: half the tiles cleaned and re-coated to a deep even tone, the other half faded and mossed, the line between old and new running across the frame
Brunswick, mid-restoration. The line across the frame is the whole job — old on one side, sealed on the other.

Tell us what the roof is doing.

We'll be on it, not guessing from the footpath. Send the symptom — a stain, a leak, a tile in the garden after a storm — and we'll come and read the roof properly.

A note from the ground

Solenne isn't real. The roof it would protect could be yours.

Solenne is a roofing company we invented to show what a working Melbourne roofer's website could look like when it's built like the trade itself: properly, with nothing loose. Every photo, every line, every number on this page was made to prove a point. The enquiry form above doesn't reach a real crew — there isn't one.

We're Maison Turco, a boutique web studio, here partnered with BackOnTools — the AI receptionist that answers tradies' calls. We build sites like this for real trades, one at a time, made to your name and your jobs. If you've ever lost a job because your site looked thrown together when your work isn't, that's the gap we close — and the form on our side is real.
