Everything below is run by us, registered, and signed off by us. No subbie merry-go-round — one practice carries the whole scope from the first measure to the keys in your hand.

Method of works

HOW A CARVER & HALE JOB RUNS

A build is a sequence, not a scramble. Here's the order every job follows — so you always know which stage you're standing in.

STAGE 01Measure

We come out and measure the real thing

No quote off a photo. We walk the site, find what's hidden behind the plaster, and take the dimensions ourselves before a single number is written.

STAGE 02Price

A fixed price before we lift a tool

You get one number with the scope spelled out. No "provisional sums" that balloon later — the price is the price, and a real start date comes with it.

STAGE 03Build

One builder, one supervisor, start to finish

The person who measured runs the job. Trades, schedule and council are ours to manage — you have one point of contact the whole way through.

STAGE 04Report

A written update every Friday

What got done, what's next, where the budget sits. Every Friday, no chasing. Every variation priced and signed before it happens — never after.

STAGE 05Hand back

Keys, certificates, and a clean site

Engineer sign-offs and compliance handed over with the keys. We leave the site cleaner than we found it — a finish you'd put your name to, because we put ours to it.
